The March 2026 Xbox Partner Preview, the first major digital showcase under Asha Sharma's leadership, focused on strong third-party support. Here are the essential highlights:
Major Portfolio Additions
HADES II
Officially coming to is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud on April 14, 2026. The critically acclaimed sequel will be available on day one through Xbox Game Pass and supports Xbox Play Anywhere. The version coming to Xbox includes all the post-launch patches released for other platforms, including additional quality-of-life improvements and some bonus content, making this the most complete version of the game yet.
DISPATCH
The long-awaited superhero workplace comedy is finally coming to Xbox consoles, PC, and Cloud this summer. It will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title. You can purchase Dispatch once and play it across supported platforms while taking your progress with you. Players can purchase Dispatch on Xbox for $29.99, or upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for $39.99, which includes four digital comics and a 100+ page digital artbook.
ARTIFICIAL DETECTIVE
New gameplay footage from this tech-noir mystery was shown, confirming a late 2026 release window with a focus on immersive investigation mechanics. The team is composed of talented artists who have worked across games and film, from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Control, and Dead Space, to the Netflix sci-fi anthology series, “Love, Death & Robots.” You’ll play as AD 2846, a robot detective who has recently awakened in Conglomerate North, a futuristic city now dominated by rogue machines with humanity seemingly vanished long ago.
Deep Dives & Updates
STRANGER THAN HEAVEN (RYU GA GOTOKU)
A massive look at this detective IP set in 1915 Japan. A standalone broadcast is scheduled for May 6 to dive deeper into the multi-era narrative. Stranger Than Heaven will be set over five different eras (with sections of the game taking place in 1915, 1929, 1943, 1951, and 1965), and its events will take place across five different Japanese cities. We also got a frenetic look at the game’s brutal, highly dynamic combat systems – with everything from weaponry, grappling, one-versus-many fights, and environmental interactions shown off.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 COST OF HOPE
A new expansion "Cost of Hope" includes a huge new storyline that can take dozens of hours to complete, two new regions, new and returning characters, and much more launching Summer 2026. More engaging quests, more memorable characters and their stories, and more answers to the questions raised both in Heart of Chornobyl and the original games – that’s exactly what you’ll get here.
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn (Owlcat Games) THE EXPANSE: OSIRIS REBORN (OWLCAT GAMES)
This action-RPG will have a Closed Beta on April 22, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S. It is confirmed as a Day One Game Pass title for its Spring 2027 launch. The Xbox Partner Preview trailer gave us a first look at new gameplay, weapons, and abilities – and the Exploits system that makes your companions more involved in combat. In addition to the previously introduced Zafar and Michael, the new trailer also reveals two more companions.
